Generations 2022 – Committee – ESI Management Group

PROGRAM WRITERS*

A top group of experts in behavioral health and addiction treatment, mirroring the intended “Generations” attendees, accepted the assignment to create this year’s feature program. They took their place at the city desk and reviewed the literature; identified gaps; examined professional practices, scrutinized abstracts; explored evidence-based practices and practice-based evidence; analyzed surveys; and, compiled organizational and professional input.

Their goal was to create an interactive, evidence-based program all attendees could enjoy and use to strengthen their toolkits of clinical skills to positively impact clients. They also aimed for a ‘hard news’ or state-of-the-science program to challenge beliefs, provide timely insights, and open new ties among and between the disciplines and practices. Each of these specialists were asked to sign a disclosure noting any potential conflicts of interest related to financial relationships with any ineligible companies – defined as any entity producing, marketing, selling, re-selling. or distributing healthcare products used by or on patients. No such relationships were reported.

All relevant financial relationships of faculty and planners will be resolved prior to the conference.
