A talented group of professionals laid the tracks for this year’s special program specially designed for behavioral health and addiction professionals from many public and private settings.

This groups reviewed the literature; identified gaps; examined professional practices, scrutinized abstracts; explored evidence-based practices and practice-based evidence; analyzed surveys; and, evaluated organizational and professional input. Their goal was to create an interactive, evidence-based program all attendees could enjoy and use to strengthen their toolboxes of clinical skills to positively impact clients. They also aimed to challenge beliefs, provide timely insights, and open new ties among and between the disciplines and practices. Special thanks to each of these committee ‘engineers’ –
