ADVISORY:

The Division of Occupational & Professional Licensing (DOPL) does NOT require pre-approval of educational programs like this. This is an extra service offered by the “Critical Issues” Conference for your convenience. When renewing licenses, most disciplines require proof of attendance at educational program(s) pertinent to your field.

DOPL considers livestreamed, interactive distance learning like “Critical Issues” with the chat options to meet the “live” requirement.  (Other programs presented in pre-recorded or other non-interactive formats, will be subject to the 18-hour limit delineated in the licensing act rule.)  If you have specific questions related to this information and/or your individual license, you may contact DOPL

It is each person’s responsibility to record and report their attendance, at educational programs pertinent to their field, to the State Board and/or other licensing organization as needed and to check with their Boards to determine reciprocity and licensure credit in their state.  Upon completion of the program, each attendee will be issued a CERTIFICATE which can be used for verification of attendance for employers, accrediting and/or licensing organizations, and others. (See registration options.)
