Approximately 600 professionals are expected to attend this fall’s 26th annual program. If you are interested in a faculty position, you are encouraged to submit a proposal. if you know colleagues who would like to explore such participation, you are encouraged to share this information.

The 26th annual conference on Critical Issues Facing Children & Adolescents is now accepting proposals for presentations – this fall in Salt Lake City. The focus of this program is mental health and addiction treatment

The conference targets professionals who work with youth and families and will feature presentations showcasing current, evidence-based, practice-based, and innovative interventions for incorporation into all types of practices focused on this population. This program is well-respected as a quality program offering state-of-the -science clinical knowledge and skills as well as hands-on tools to increase the efficacy of clinical care provided to youth (0-18 years) and their families experiencing behavioral health issues. This year the focus will continue to be on prevention to tertiary interventions. Faculty who can offer follow-up consultation opportunities related to these practices are especially encouraged to submit proposal(s) although this is not a requirement.

All submissions will be reviewed by the multi-disciplinary planning committee. The application is simple and the selection process is streamlined. To have the committee review your application(s), it must be submitted on or before MONDAY, MAY 2nd. Applicants will be notified of the committee’s decisions in July.

We hope you and/or your colleagues will join us for what promises to be another exciting and valuable year for the 600 health and mental health professionals expected to attend. Your support and consideration of this invitation is a critical part of this program as we try to meet the needs of the target audiences.
